Fishing Pack bait and other baits!
Making it sort and sweet so to say! When you are fishing pack bait you want to keep it together in one place. Keeping your reels together! Don’t put it all over the place, because you want to get some bait together in one place for the fish to feed on. They seem to like pack bait better fish like this then put all over the lake in a hit and miss deal you know what I‘m saying here. For you that fish Euro it might be hard for you that cast 100 yards or so to hit the same spot I don’t know. Fish from the bank to 40 yards, or as far as you can hit the same spot is far enough to fish it right. Don’t get me wrong here pack bait will still catch fish if not in the same spot. But not like it can or at its best! This is good for all baits in the pack bait family like rice, chow, oats, millet, grits and pack baits. Pack baits being soybean and wheat bran, creak corn. I just listed them all so that you would know ok.
When you first start to fish it, start baiting up every 15 minutes or so for the first couple of hours. Then you should start to see bubbles coming up were you are putting your reels. If you are not fishing 100 yards or so like the Euro do. If this is in the summer time! Winter time there will be a few bubbles but not like there is in the summer time. So it’s hard to go by bubbles in the winter time. That is telling you that the fish is in there. You should start to get some runs soon if not already having some if everything is right. If not then you might have to look at the pickup that you are using. If so then change what you are putting on them or pick up and see what happens. Sometimes you will have to change baits when that they are not biting. But try the pops first ok. Winter time give it some time for that their bite slows. It does not take as much bait in the winter time then the summer time you know. Leave it lying longer at a time in the winter then the summer.
Now for pack bait to use. I have got a lot of big fish with this bait. I like to use it when it starts to cool off some outside you know. Hope that it gets you a lot of fish in the 20’s as it has for me. Now for the millet to use and try out it is one of the best that I have. Fishing millet is mostly in the summer time but a lot of people fish it right on in the winter time to. They catch fish with it also I have a few friends that do it and get a lot of fish with it for them in the winter time. Now this is just my take on it and that is all. There are a lot of other takes out there so who is to say which is best. I just happen to have this one that has work best for me so now I give it to you.
