I went fishing at a lake call Parkers up in Statesville N.C. I was 13 years old at the time this took place. I went up there with Joe and Wallace to men that help raise me after dad pass away. Not really but two who were all way there for me if you know what I mean.
We were using pack baits and rice baits this day. The fish were really biting well to. We all were catching fish and it seems that every good fish that we got it just would get knock off. I did not say any thing but it was getting next to me a little you know. Every fish that I would weight would get knock off. One of my reels took off and I got it and boy was it a good one. I told them that this one was one there to stay.
They said Paul watch it boy you know how fishing is. W ell we got it in and I got it up there and put on the scales and it went 27lbs and 14 ounces. I started back over to were we were at and before I got there I was knock slap off the broad. I got back and they were laughing at me and saying that is carping at it best Paul. Man I learn a lesson that day and that was to never count on anything carp fishing. For noting is a sure thing when it comes to carp’n. JustCarp'N at its best I have to say for that is all that I can say..
